Jean Stromberg Olson, 90, a resident of Dothan passed away Wednesday June, 10, 2015 at a local nursing home.

Memorial services will be held 11 AM Saturday the 20th at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Ray McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.

Mrs. Olson was born July 14, 1924 in Fairmont, MN and lived there most of her life. She relocated to Magnolia Springs, Alabama where she resided for 12 years and has lived in Dothan since 2008. She was a homemaker and the widow of her late husband, Clair “Cub” Olson. While residing in Fairmont Mrs. Olson was a member of St. Martins Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Olson and his wife, Elizabeth, of Dothan, Roger Olson and his wife, Sherry, of Winter Heaven, Florida, Douglas Olson and his wife Sandy of Terrytown, LA; two grandchildren, Perryn Olson and his wife Erica and Daniel Olson; a great-granddaughter, Clara Jean Olson.
