DOTHAN…Jeffery Paul Lane, a resident of Dothan, died Sunday morning, April 24, 2016, in a Dothan hospital. He was 58.

            No funeral or memorial services are planned at this time. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1449 Medical Park Drive, Birmingham, Alabama 35213.

            Mr. Lane was a native of Dothan and was a 1976 graduate of Dothan High School and also attended Wallace Community College. He lived in Destin, FL twenty-five years before returning to Dothan in 2005. Mr. Lane was employed by RealTime-IT in Dothan as a Computer Technician. He was a member of the Florosa Baptist Church in Florosa, Florida. Mr. Lane was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Glover Lane and his mother Mildred Ann Stone Lane, a sister, Donna Botts, and a brother, Bob Lane.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Debbie Prine Lane; a daughter, Tabitha Myers (Josh), Newville; a son, Christopher Lane, Dothan; four grandchildren, Brayden Roy, Isabelle Roy, McKenzie Myers, Lindsey Myers; several nieces and nephews including, Toni Whaley (Michael), Holly Whitworth and Michael Warren (Aymber).
