Jessie Barnes, 52, of Slocomb, died Monday February 3, 2014 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 10 am Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. Barnes was born March 21, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois and he resided in Slocomb for the past 5 years. Mr. Barnes was employed with APAC for three years and for the past 2 years he was employed with Anderson Columbia Company as a diesel mechanic.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Barnes; his sons, Jeremy Corbin and Carlos Aguillon; his daughters, Amy Prewett, Courtney Aguillon, Courtney Corbin, Allyson Godfrey, Abby Todd and Amanda Taylor; his brothers, Gary Barnes, Preston Barnes, Steve Barnes, Joe Barnes and Donald Barnes; a sister, Debbie Walters; several grandchildren.
