Jessie Mae Bracewell of Samson, AL passed away at her residence on Monday, January 27, 2014. She was 77. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home, Samson, AL with Dr. J. Chris Adams officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home, Samson, AL.

Ms. Bracewell was born in Coffee Sprigs, AL on October 21, 1936 to the late Ruben Jack Catrett and Allie Mae Cardwell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eulas Jack Bracewell, Jr., and five brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Emma Bracewell, Lucy Curtis, Collene Christian, Nichole Bracewell, and Lisa Williams; sons, Cruz Gonzalez, Mark Ceccheti, and Michael Eugene Bracewell; sister, Dorothy Rivera; nineteen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
