WEBB…Jewell Deese Livingston, a resident of Webb, died late Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016, in the Extendicare Health & Rehabilitation Center in Dothan. She was 96.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Mrs. Betty Sue Forrester and Dr. Jeff Ross officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Center Baptist Church Cemetery, near Webb, with Reverend Jack Wingate officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Thursday at the mortuary.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.

            Mrs. Livingston was a lifelong resident of Webb, daughter of the late Amsie Deese and Ruby Kirkland Deese. She was a former member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church and also the Webb Homemakers Demonstration Club. Mrs. Livingston was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Livingston, two sisters, Blondell Deese Windsor and Mildred Watkins, and a brother, Jack Deese.

            Surviving relatives include her daughter, Elaine Livingston Bond (Kenneth), Webb; a granddaughter, Kelly Bond, Irving, Texas; a sister, Annette Owens (Billy), Montgomery; a sister-in-law, Billie Sue Deese, Webb; and several nieces and nephews.

            Mrs. Livingston’s family would like to thank the staff of Extendicare Health Center, Hall Two, and a special caregiver, Marilyn Waller, for the loving care and kindness shown to her during the past four years.
