Jimmy Lee Shiver, 89, a resident of Hartford, AL passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 surrounded by his wife, four children, and youngest grandson.

 

Jimmy was born in Geneva, AL and raised in Andalusia, AL. He was an electrician and retired after 36 years in the business. He and his wife would have been married for 69 years December 28.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Bro. Gary Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in the Esto First Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

 

He is survived by his wife; Lillie Lamb Pippins Shiver; four children, Linda Fox (Breck) Miller of Geneva, AL, Gary (Berinda) Shiver of Clopton, AL, James Shiver of Orlando, FL, and Tammie Shiver of Orlando, FL; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; two brothers, Tom Shiver of Geneva, AL and Berl Shiver of Esto, FL; one sister-in-law, Grace Scates of Georgia; three brothers-in-law, Ramon (Jean) Pippins of Hartford, AL, Billy (Betty) Pippins of Dothan, AL, and Robert (Vonnie) Pippins of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Pallbearers include; Benjamin Travis, Jason Shiver, Patrick Shiver, Joesph Burks, Gary Shiver, and James Shiver

 

He was a great Dad and Grandpa. He will be truly missed.
