Mr. Jimmy R. Smith of Enterprise passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Medical Center Enterprise.  He was 70.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2014 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Lanny Sheppard officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Mr. Smith was born December 3, 1943, in Panama City Beach, Florida to the late James T. and Jewell Catrett Smith.

 

In addition to his parents, his first wife, Deborah Smith, as well as one sister preceded him in death.

 

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Smith of Enterprise; 1 son; 2 daughters; 1 stepson, Atlas Pittman (Shaun) of New Brockton; 1 stepdaughter, Sonya Pittman of New Brockton; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 brother, Wayne Smith (Diane) of Jack; and 1 sister, Bobbie Pittman (Leon) of New Brockton.
