Mrs. Joan Susie Massey Davis of Clemmons Circle, Hartford, Alabama passed away Monday, May 19, 2014.  She was 50.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Red Coleman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, May 20, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m.

Joan was born August 11, 1963, in Winter Haven, Florida to the late Edgar and Christie Grover Prescott.  She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents two siblings, Lisa and Joey Prescott, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of six years, Andrew Helms, Geneva; one son, Ashley (Krystal) Ogburn, Geneva; one daughter, Kristie Lea (Matt) Johnson, Auburn; three grandchildren: Oustun Ogburn, Maddie and Sydney Johnson; one sister, Karen (Rickey) Stokes, Bartow, FL; one brother, Randy (Hidie) Yarbrough, Tampa, FL; step-father, Randal (Eloise) Yarbrough; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
