Mr. Joe B. Medley, 73, of Enterprise, AL, died on Saturday, January 23, 2016.

Funeral services will be Monday, 2 pm, at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Doster officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends from noon until service time Monday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children Tampa, 12502 USF Pine Drive, Tampa, FL 33612 or www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org.

Mr. Medley was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Lee and Sallie Lou Medley; son, Michael Shane Medley; brother, Charles Medley and sisters-in-law, Robbie and Peggy Medley.

Mr. Medley loved his country, honorably serving and retiring from the Alabama National Guard.  He was also a proud member of the Alcazar Shriners, York Rites and Claybank Masonic Lodge. 

Survivors include his wife, Betty Medley, Enterprise, AL; 2 brothers, Lomax and Wayne Medley; sister-in-law, Carol Medley; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Joe and Judy McGhee; several nieces and nephews also survive.
