Joe N. Lamb passed away Sunday March 8, 2015. He was born July 24, 1929 in Lineville, AL.

 

Joe was a member of Selma Baptist Church and a USAF Veteran and a long-time resident of Dothan.

 

Joe is preceded in death by his parents Ross Wrenelder Lamb and Inez Upchurch Lamb,

sisters, Willie Blanche Lewis, Dean Lamb Leverette and grandson Weston Garrett Lamb.

 

He is survived by his wife Joan Ethridge Lamb, sons, Michael Rhea Lamb (Lynne Nysteun), Joe N. Lamb Jr., brother –in-law Dawson Leverette, grandchildren Sheldon Rhea Lamb, Ellis Engen Lamb and Avery Neal Lamb.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, March 13, 2015 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Brett Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the Funeral Home from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday March 13, 2015.

 

Flowers will be accepted, but the family would prefer donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Resource Center.
