Mr. John F. (Buck) “Boz” Boswell of New Brockton passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017.  He was 68.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Steve Comer officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6 – 8 p.m.

 

Mr. Boswell was born November 22, 1948, in Coffee County.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Donaldson Boswell; his parents, Q.P. and Lucille Johnson Boswell; and a sister, Patricia Clark. 

 

Survivors include six children: Cheryl Andrews (William) of Anchorage, AK, Bobby Curtis of Kotzebue, AK, James Wilson of Kotzebue, AK, Kevin Boswell (Jennifer) of Concord, NC, Donan Boswell of Elba, AL, and Shauna Griffin (Kevin) of New Brockton, AL; one brother, Jackie Boswell of Mechanicsville, MD; five sisters: Betty Bradshaw (Lamar) of New Brockton, AL, Virginia Lindsey of New Brockton, AL, Martha Jones (Kenneth) of Opp, AL, Ruby Nell Lawson of New Brockton, AL, and Angela Ziglar (Bill) of Brewton, AL; twenty-two grandchildren: Kendall Boswell, Kenya Griffin, Damion Griffin, Haleigh Boswell, Kila Boswell, Donavan Boswell, Christian Boswell, Nina Boswell, Jonathon Boswell, Cierra Boswell, Devin Honeycutt, Heather Hardwood, Sara Curtis, Willie Curtis, Aviana Curtis, Brad Curtis, Rhonda Newlin, Joleen Newlin, Amber Andrews, Taylor Wells, Kevin Andrews, and Jordan Wilson; three great-grandchildren: Adam Madison, Peyton Newlin, Kai Heffner.
