John Minter Sherer, R. PH went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 12, 2015. He was 69.

 

Born April 25, 1946 in Dothan to the late Robert Glenn and Esther Brackfield Sherer, Mr. Sherer was a retired pharmacist and will be remembered as a quiet, gentle man who loved the Lord and loved his family.

 

Graveside services will be held at 4 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 at Memory Hill Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 prior to the service.

 

Survivors include his wife, Cheri Kelly-Sherer; his daughter, Allison (Kirby) Hart, his son, John Minter (Kristin) Sherer, Jr., his daughter, Kim (Keith) Dudley; his grandchildren, Caroline Hart, Mary Ellen Hart, Annie Hart, Shelby Branch, John Minter Sherer III, Patrick Glenn Sherer, Danielle Dudley, Davis Dudley, and Dayne Dudley; his great-grandchild, John Riley Davis; his brother, Robert (Carol) Sherer of Little Rock, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
