Obituary:  John Robert Corley

             Mr. John Robert Corley, Jr. of Elba (Jack Community) passed away Saturday, February 1 from injuries received in an automobile accident.  He was 74.

             Memorial services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 am Thursday from the Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Enterprise with Reverend Steve Comer officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am and continuing until service time.

             Mr. Corley was born January 16, 1940 in Bullock County, AL to the late Pinkie Ruth Finley and John Robert Corley, Sr.  He was retired from the Alabama National Guard.

             Survivors include 2 sisters: Linda Franklin (David), Enterprise, and Shirley E. Best, Jack, AL; 1 brother, Darrel Corley, Jack, AL; his significant other, Marcie Smith, New Brockton; several other extended family members as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
