Today heavens gates opened up to honor the arrival of a special angel Johnny Mason who passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at a local hospital. He was 48.

Memorial services will be held at 4 pm Tuesday, November 24, 2015 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Byrd directing.

Johnny was born in Sebring, Florida and moved to Dothan in 1975. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son. He worked hard his whole life to provide for his family as an auto body technician. He loved the outdoors, animals, helping people, and had a heart of gold. If you met him you know how special he was and will always be in our hearts and memories.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years Lynn Mason; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Johnny Ray and Hayley Hope, Chris and Hali Bree, Jeremy and special lady Anna Carin Medford, and Anthony Cheyne; his parents, Roy and Sue Mason; one Brother and two sisters, Leroy and Jessica Mason, Betty and Randy Kimbrough, and Charlene and Mike Price; four grandchildren, Konnor Ray, Bella Rae-Lynn, Jace Mckinley, and Gannon Thomas; several nieces and nephews and two special young boys Kingsley and Jackson Scearce.
