Joseph Deween McKenzie of New Brockton passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  He was 73.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise with Reverend Larry Odom officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 5:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mr. McKenzie was born August 16, 1941 in Coffee County to the late Dewey W. and Ada M. Driggers McKenzie. 

In addition to his parents, his son, Windell McKenzie, and his daughter, Lillie Yvonne McKenzie preceded him in death.

Survivors include 1 daughter: Kimberly Hendrix of Niceville, Florida; and 2 grandsons: James McKenzie of the Damascus Community and Joseph Dalton McKenzie of Samson.
