Joseph Tyler Edwards of Dothan, Alabama passed away on February 18, 2014.

 

Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Bill Hix officiating with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at Ward Wilson Funeral Home one hour before the graveside service on  Thursday, February 20, 2014. The family asks, that instead of flowers, you make a donation to the American Lung Association or to the American Heart Association in his Honor.

 

Mr. Edwards was born September 17, 1928 and attended school in Pinkard, and Midland City, Alabama. Tyler and Olivia moved to Ozark, AL in 1964 and started a business; Tyler’s Office Supply Company. He served as President of the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Ozark, Al.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents; Dee Edwards and Beatrice Edwards; 2 brothers, Hilliard and Hiram Edwards; and 1 sister, Evelyn Deese.

 

He is survived by his wife Olivia Cameron Edwards of Dothan; 2 daughters, Debbie Teague and Lisa Edwards; 4 grandchildren; Brian Teague, Heather Hall, Deana Motes, and Cassie Edwards; and 4 great-granddaughters; Maddie and Allie Hall, and Annie and Phoebe Motes.
