Judy G. Roberts passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at her residence in Newton, AL.  She was 67.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Foundation or to Covenant Hospice.

 

Judy was born March 11, 1947, in Fleetwood, AL, to the late Benjamin Frances and Ouida Kate Williamson Godwin.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Elenda S. Turner and Holly G. Cato.

 

Judy was a staunch supporter of the US military and a much loved and dedicated public school teacher.  For 29 ½ years, she taught for the Ozark City School System, touching the lives of many.

 

Survivors include two daughters: Andria Foote Schwegler (Eric) of Enterprise and Melinda Foote Hicks (Michael) of Fort Walton Beach, FL; four grandchildren: Madison E. Foote, Brenton R. Foote, Jonathan B. Schwegler, and Jordan S. Schwegler; best friend and caregiver, Cyndy Pynes.
