MIDLAND CITY, ALABAMA. . .Karen Joy Braun, a resident of Midland City, Alabama, died late Thursday night, October 30, 2014, in a Dothan, Alabama hospital. She was 55.

            Graveside services will be held at later date in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro, North Carolina. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.

            Mrs. Braun was born and reared in Greensboro, North Carolina where she was a graduate of Smith High School. She lived in Pueblo, Colorado and Savannah, Georgia before moving to Midland City, Alabama in 2005. Mrs. Braun was formerly employed by Blue Cross-Blue Shield in Savannah. She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Belton.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Berlin Enfinger, Midland City; a son, Charles Belton (Sara), High Point, NC; her parents, Arvel and Bobbi Belton, Pleasant Garden, NC; a sister, Bonnie Culler (Chris), Pleasant Garden, NC; three grandchildren, Ashelyn Belton, Sophia Belton, and Abigail Belton.
