KATHLYN COFFEY HALLER

 

HEADLAND…Kathlyn Coffey Haller, a resident of Headland, died Monday afternoon, July 15, 2013, in a Dothan hospital.  She was 62.

            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 18, 2013 in the Holman-Headland Chapel with Reverend Eddie Colley officiating.  Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the mortuary.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Missionary Baptist Church, Missionary Fund, c/o Eddie Colley, 611 Main Street, Headland, Alabama 36345. 

            Born in Enid, Oklahoma and reared in Hartford Alabama, Mrs. Haller formerly lived in Jacksonville, Florida before moving to Headland in 1981.  She was a member of the Grace Missionary Church in Dothan and was a former member of the Headland Chamber of Commerce.  Mrs. Haller was a founding member of the Wiregrass BMX Parents Association in Dothan.  She was preceded in death by her father, Carthel Reed Coffey.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Steven Haller, Headland; a daughter, Jennifer Charron (Toney), McClenney, FL; four sons, Shawn Baltzell (Mary), Ft. Gaines, GA; Ian Baltzell (Eve), Spanish Fort, AL; Paul Haller, McClenney, FL; and Ben Haller, Headland; her mother, Rebecca Jane Coffey, Columbia; two brothers, Clyde Coffey (Heidi), Ft. Pierce, FL; and Doyle Coffey (Bonnie), Oklahoma City, OK; nine grandchildren, Sarah Baltzell, Shawn Allen Baltzell, Hannah Baltzell, Aiden Baltzell, Michael Charron, Christina Charron, Dustin Haller, Ashton Haller and Madison Haller.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Shawn Baltzell, Ian Baltzell, Ben Haller, David Riley, Charley Tew, and Kenneth Guy.
