KATHY  MATHIS  PROCTOR


NAPIER FIELD. . .Kathy Mathis Proctor, a resident of Napier Field, died Sunday afternoon, April 7, 2013, in a Dothan hospital. She was 55.


            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, in the Sanctuary of Praise, in Midland City, with Reverend Ricky Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Midland City Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday in the church sanctuary in Midland City.


            Mrs. Proctor was a native of Opp, Alabama, and lived in Midland City all her life before recently moving to Napier Field. She was a member of the Sanctuary of Praise in Midland City. Mrs. Proctor was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Senn Mathis, a brother, James Earl Mathis and a step-son, Jimmy Allen Proctor.


            Surviving relatives include her husband, Johnnie B. Proctor, Napier Field; a daughter, Amanda Duncan (Charles), Napier Field; three sons, Tim Mathis, Dothan; Max Hart (Keisha), Midland City; and Josh Hart, Enterprise; a step-daughter, Susan Proctor, Jakin, GA; and a brother, Johnny Matthew Proctor (Crystal), Pinckard; her father, Cleveland James Mathis, Napier Field; a sister, Lisa Sappington (Martin Glover), Lady Lake, FL; two brothers, Wayne Mathis (Katie), Taylor, AL; and Robert Mathis (Lisa), Dothan; nineteen grandchildren.


            Serving as active pallbearers will be Randy Fulford, Waylon Johnson, Adam Johnson, William Hitchcock, Dustin Sayers, and Daniel Hitchcock.
