Mrs. Kathy Thomas Rodriguez of Enterprise passed away Friday, June 6, 2014.  She was 56.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 11 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise with Reverend Jim Duhaime officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00 until service time. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation (www.kintera.org).

Kathy was born November 17, 1957 in Eufaula, AL to the late George Wallace and Lavounia Boutwell Thomas.  She loved her family very much and was always ready to open her home to anyone in need.  She was passionate about life and an avid Auburn fan.  She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Hector Rodriguez of Enterprise; daughter, Jessica Mansfield (Donavan); 2 sons: Jerrod Rodriguez (Erika) and Terrell Averett (Lee Ann); 2 granddaughters: Madison Mansfield and Hannah Averett; 4 sisters: Nona Glasgow, Delethia Thomas, Cynthia T. Young, and Starla Drennan (Bobby); numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of a large extended family.
