Kincel Lamar Mauldin, a resident of the Pinckard/Newton community of Dale County passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his home. He was 64.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 in the Pinckard Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Woodall officiating. Interment will follow in Newton City Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friend at the church one hour prior to services.

Mr. Mauldin was a native of the Pinckard/Newton community of Dale County and lived there is whole life. He attended Wallace Community College in Dothan. He worked for many years with Carroll's Nursery in Midland City and he was a faithful member of Pinckard Baptist Church.

Lamar was preceded in death by his parents Kincel and Mildred Mauldin and his late brother, Curtis Mauldin.

Suvivors include his siblings Randall Mauldin (Linda) of Newton, AL and their children; Larry Wayne Mauldin (Lynda) of Newton, AL and children; and also children of  Curtis Mauldin. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
