Mrs. Lala Jean Pelham Vickers of Dothan passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015. She was 78.

 

Funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at McMullen Chapel at Baptist Village with Reverend Matthew Vickers officiating. Burial will follow at New Teamon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at McMullen Chapel from 11AM to 12 PM Saturday March 14, 2015

 

 

Jean was well loved by her Baptist Village Family.

 

Mrs. Vickers was preceded in death by her parents Sylvester and Lala Pelham, her husband Royce Vickers. Daughters; Zada Wilson and Neva Vickers, son Jimmy Vickers and sister Edith Kirkland.

 

 

Survivors include; daughter Lynn Vickers of Slocomb, sons; Andy Vickers (Dessa) of Headland, Mike Vickers (Sarah) of Slocomb, sisters; Ruth Meadows of Dothan, Frances Creel of Panama City, Mildred Kirkland (Quincy) of Panama City, Elvie Collins (Hilton) of Tallahassee,  son-in-law David Wilson of Bainbridge, GA., grandchildren; Kris Wilson, Brandie Forman, Corey Vickers, Wayne Vickers, Banyon Parker, Tyler Childree, Kevin Sellers, Kayla Gilmore, Johnnie Maynor, Ricky Adams, Joshua Vickers and Matthew Vickers and 11 great- grandchildren.

 

 

Serving as pallbearers; Kevin Sellers, Joshua Vickers, Johnnie Maynor, Kris Wilson, Tyler Childree and Ethan Gilmore.
