Lamar Allen Thompson, age 83, of Dothan passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016.

 

 

Mr. Thompson was a devoted husband to Lethia Thompson for 57 years and a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a hardworking mechanic and also served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Thompson enjoyed fishing and gardening in his free time.

 

He is survived by his wife Lethia Thompson; daughter, Sheila Thompson Pynes (Dorman) of Anniston AL.; two sons, Alan Thompson (Teresa) and Mark Thompson all of Dothan; grandchildren, Dana Pynes, Deanna Pynes Clark, Dan Pynes, Trey Thompson, Tristan Thompson, and Savanna Thompson; six great-grandchildren Emma Clark, Elijah Clark, Elizabeth Clark, Daniel Clark and David Clark.

 

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303.
