Obituary:  Laurett Glover Whigham

 

            Laurett Glover Whigham of Enterprise, AL passed away Friday, August 30, 2013. She was 86.

            Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 until 8pm.

Mrs. Whigham was born June 27, 1927 in Geneva County, AL to the late Ed and Lora Judy Glover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. Whigham, three sisters, and one brother.

            Survivors include three sons: William Whigham (Tami), Neal Whigham, Timothy Whigham, all of Enterprise, AL; three brothers, Billy Joe Glover, Birmingham, AL; Charlie Earl Glover, Sylacauga, AL; Eddy Foy Glover, Geneva, AL; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
