Laurie Hurst, 46, of Enterprise, died on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Flowers Hospital. 

Funeral services will be held at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel on Friday, October 4, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Larry Doster officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 4 until 7 P.M. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery fund.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Nigel Hurst, Enterprise, AL; son,  Jeffery Sims (Kimberly), New Brockton, AL; daughter, Christina Hurst, Enterprise, AL; grandson, Johnnie Nigel Sims, New Brockton, AL; sisters, Sharon Watson (Late Glen Watson), Chancellor, AL and Carolyn Hughes (Larry) Westminster, CO; father-in-law, Nigel Hurst, Enterprise, AL; also surviving many nieces and nephews and friends.
