Lavonda Iva Hartzog, 68, of Echo, AL passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at SAMC.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Omega Holiness Church in Echo, Alabama with Revs. Rick Langford and Terrell Andrews officiating.  Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Community Church Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be held at Omega Holiness Church from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday.

She was born June 7, 1947 in Columbus, GA but spent most of her life in Dale County.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Manuel Douglas Hartzog.

Survivors include her daughter, Hazel Langford (Rick) and son, Jackson Hartzog (Jennifer); 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; a sister and brother.
