Lawrence Otis “Larry” Shockley of Hartford passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Hartford Health Care. He was 71 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Hartford with Rev. Chris Kroll officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home of Hartford. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

He is survived by his mother, Gertrude Shockley of Hartford; two nephews, Michael and John Shockley; two nieces, Trudy Awl and Amanda Shockley; sister-in-law, Rita Shockley of Dothan.
