Mr. Lee Roy Strickland of Enterprise passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his residence.  He was 83.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Gentiva Hospice Chaplain Jody Hadden officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 until 8 pm.

Mr. Strickland was born April 3, 1932 to the late Jesse Lee and Jewel Strickland.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Brockton.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Sue B. Strickland.

Survivors include two sons: Stacy A. Strickland and Mark Strickland of Enterprise, AL, three grandchildren: Landis and Presley Strickland, Lilly Taylor, several nieces and nephews.
