Mrs. Lelia Pearl Wilks of County Road 625 in Enterprise (Goodman Community) went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Medical Center Enterprise. She was 93.


Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 at Goodman Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Williams and Rev. Hubert McWaters officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m.  The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service.


Pearl was born September 9, 1922, in Coffee County, to the late Delma and Tura Edge Watkins.  She was a faithful member of Goodman Baptist Church.


In addition to her parents, her husband, Esker Wilks preceded her in death.


Survivors include one son, Robert Wilks (Patti) of Altha, FL; two daughters, Kay Watkins (Grady) of Dothan and Lynn Williams (Ronnie) of New Brockton; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
