Ms. Lena Joan Jordan of Spears Hill Road, Coffee Springs, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014.  She was 62.

 

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva.  Burial will follow in the Eden Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, April 1, 2014, from 5 until 7 p.m.

 

Ms. Jordan was born February 6, 1952, in Geneva County, Alabama, to the late Fred Lamar and Bonnie Louise Kyser Aycock.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who worked hard to provide for her family.  She was a friend to everyone, but her grandchildren were her world.

 

One grandchild, Ronnie Pedro Sacul, preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include one daughter, Laura Virginia Hurtado (Jose), Samson; three sons: Ronnie Jordan (Andrea), Coffee Springs, Jason Jordan (Brenda), Chancellor, and Terry Benefield (Sara), Black; one sister, Linda Caylor (Mickey) Enterprise; grandchildren: Taylor, Candi and Brooke Moore, A.J. and Robbie Jordan, Christy Sellers, Aurora and Britney Benefield, Alex Sacul, and Johnny Tovar; great-grandchild, Brayden Tovar; other extended family and friends.
