Letty M. Perez, age 81, of Enterprise, AL, affectionately known as an angel on this earth, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 3, 2013.  She was born and raised in Puerto Rico.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Mynatt and Rev. Jim Duhaime officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 500 Alberta Street, Enterprise, AL 36330 or American Cancer Society, c/o Linda Andress, PO Box 310900, Enterprise, AL 36331.

Letty  was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Eulalia Fuertes, daughter, Linette Wilson, a sister and brother.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Alexis S. Perez, Enterprise, AL; daughters, Annette Lalonde (Richard), Anniston, AL; Lysette Bordofske (Terry), Broken Arrow, OK; sons, Alex Perez (Cindy), Hot Springs, AR; Rene` Perez (Brenda) , Phenix City, AL ; Ruben Perez (Lindy), Richardson, TX; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Vazquez; brother;  Erasto Fuertes. 

The family expresses special thanks to Gentiva Hospice and Leah Russell for their wonderful care and support.
