Levita Michelle Hartzog, 43, of Newville, AL passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be 11am Friday, August 8, 2014 at Sunset Funeral home Chapel with Sister Cindy Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 10-11am Friday at the funeral home.

Levita was born October 14, 1970 in Dale County and lived the early part of her life there. She resided in Dothan for several years where she was employed as a sitter with the elderly. She also worked with Ansell and Golden Peanut Company. Levita was very artistic and loved to draw and paint. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She was a member of Victory Holiness Church in Abbeville.

Survivors include her son Randy "Blake" Jenkins; a daughter "Taylor" Leighann Hansen; grandchildren, Brooklyn Rosser, Landon Jenkins, and Elizabeth Grace Hansen; her mother Sybil Jenkins; grandmother Lannie Ann Woodham; brothers, Leslie Daniel (Rita) Jenkins and Jesse (Brandi) Jenkins; a sister Sheila Jenkins; several nieces and nephews.
