Lina Sewell Sellers, age 94, of Dothan went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2014 at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center.



Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Monday, April 21, 2014 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Pearson and Reverend John Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, April 21, 2014 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 with services to follow in the chapel. At other times, the family will be at the home of her daughter at 2304 Stonebridge Road in Dothan.



Born March 3, 1920 in Dale County to the late Isaac Almer and Hattie Baldwin Snell, Lina was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother. She was a member of Lafayette United Methodist Church (Greystone United Methodist Church) where she was an active member of the Esther Sunday School class. She was also a charter member of the Stonebridge Estates Garden Club.



She was preceded in death by her first husband, Irby Sewell, the father of her daughter Blanche, an infant brother, and a son-in-law, Lavaughn (Bud) Hall of Dothan.



Survivors include her husband, Jerald Rudolph Sellers; her daughter, Blanche Hall of Dothan; sister-in-laws, Glenda Sanders (Rev. John Sanders) of Dothan, Mrs. Clyde Wilkinson, of Jacksonville, FL; nephews, Gene Ward (Linda) of Echo, Rex Stephens (Glenda) of Midland City, and David Baldwin of Echo; the Hall family Gene and Jean Hall of Birmingham; Charles Hall of Kinsey; Bruce and Anita T. Duke of Dothan; Connie and Mike Reinhardt of Omaha, NE; Ramona Woods of Ocala, FL; and a very devoted and caring friend, Christine Moore.



Serving as pallbearers will be Emory Foster, Allen Brackin, Daryl Sanders, Buford Fortson, Bill Hart, and Bob Schamp.



In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Greystone United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 1506 Dothan, AL  36302
