Linda Eudene Hughes of Geneva passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 in Southeast Alabama Medical Center. She was 64.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, November 1, 2013 at New Hope Baptist Church with Bro. Gene Hauser officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the church.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Kay Hughes; two brothers, J L Vaughn and Johnny Vaughn; two sisters, Charlene Hawthorne and Cumi Vaughn.

She is survived by two children, Cassandra (Ralph) Carter of Geneva, and Labranda Hughes of Geneva; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Posie Vaughn; two sisters, Ruth Forsythe, and Rachael Heath; several nieces and nephews.
