Linda Jane (Harrison) Brust of New Brockton (Bethany Community) passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.  She was 64.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 27, 2015 at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tony Dye and Rev. Mike Medley officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00PM until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to:  Bethany Baptist Church Children’s Ministries, 1805 County Road 533, New Brockton, AL 36351.

Mrs. Brust was preceded in death by her parents, Hulon and Mattie Ester Harrison; sister, Annie Merle Colburn.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Fred Brust, Bethany Community; 2 sons, Freddie Brust Jr., (Jeanne), Maplesville, AL, Eddie Brust (Trina), New Brockton, AL; daughter, Bettie Danford (Randy), Damascus Community; 6 grandchildren, Bailey Brust, Triston Brust, Madison Brust, Reese Danford, Cole Danford, Case Danford; sister Bettie Ann Stephenson (Travis), Bethany Community; brother-in-law, Earl Colburn, Bethany Community.
