Linda L. Davis of Enterprise went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Medical Center Enterprise.  She was 68.

 

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise with Rev. James Hattaway officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Life Baptist Assembly Cemetery in Kinston with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

 

Linda was born December 12, 1946 in Coffee County to the late Gassie Lee and Lettie Belle Ezell Weatherford.  She was a loving mother and grandmother.  Her care for other people and her service to the Lord were a blessing to all who knew her.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald P. Davis, three sisters, one brother, and one grandson.

 

Survivors include 3 daughters: Anita Hutto of Andalusia, Terisa Stanley (Marty) of Kinston, and Sharon Caylor (Bill) of New Brockton; 2 brothers: Donnie Weatherford (Rita) of Enterprise and Billy Weatherford of Samson; 2 sisters: Onzie Carnley of Kinston and Peggy Johnson (Howard) of Goodman; 4 grandchildren: Courtney Tucker, Kim Hutto, Wendy Summerest, and Faith Caylor; 10 great-grandchildren.
