Lisa Perry Dienethal, a resident of Headland, died early Friday morning, September 18, 2015, in the UAB Hospital, in Birmingham. She was 37.

            Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, September 20, 2015, in the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 2506 State Highway 134, East, Headland, with Reverend Ricky Sowell officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 Sunday in the church sanctuary.

            Memorial services will be held at a later date in the Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in memory of Lisa Dienethal, may be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America, 9899 Main Street, Suite 204, Damascus, Maryland 20872 or to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 363023

            Mrs. Dienethal was born and reared in Louisville, Kentucky, where she was a graduate of Ballard High School. She attended the University of Kentucky and received a nursing degree as a Registered Nurse in Cincinnati, Ohio. She lived most of her lifetime in Louisville and also lived in Dothan and Enterprise before moving to Headland in 2013.  Mrs. Dienethal was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was employed by Gentiva Hospice as a Registered Nurse.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Dane Andrew Dienethal, two sons, Dillon Calabrese and Bryson Dienethal, all of Headland; her parents, Michael and Pat Justice Perry, Louisville, KY; a sister, Erin Perry Musick (Jon), Louisville, KY; a niece, Brynn Musick; and two aunts.
