Lola Featherstone left us on Nov. 11 2014.  She is now with her Sweet Lord and her baby, Junior.  She was 79.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday Nov 15, at 1:00 pm with visitation on Friday from 4pm to 7pm and also on Saturday from 12:00 pm to 1pm  at the Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastors Shawn Crosby and Pastor Bob Miller officiating. There will be a graveside service on Monday, November 17, at 2;00 pm at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville, Tn.

Lola was born May 14, 1935 in Furstenau, Germany and married the love of her life on the 13th of Sept, 1956, Jim  (Daddy) Featherstone.

Her compassion for her family, friends and all that she met shone brightly in all that she did.  Her love for all animals and nature were displayed daily.  She touched countless lives in her lifetime and will be missed by everyone who ever knew her.

She is preceded in death by her son, James W Featherstone, Jr in 1980, her father Wilhelm Wholgemuth and mother Justine Wholgmuth.

She is survived by her precious husband, James W. Featherstone, her sister, Herta Gottel in Germany and her god-son Carter and Ryan Howard.

Her family would like to give a special thanks to the Gentiva Hospice nurses that cared for her and Dr. Karen Mockler.

You may sign the register book or send condolences to the family at our website:  www.searcyfuneralhome.com.
