LTC (Ret) James O. Estes, age 85, of Daleville, AL, passed away, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, November 20, 2014 with Rev. Scott Davis officiating.  Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Dothan, AL.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Team RWB (Wounded Warrior), 101 Live Oak Drive, Enterprise, AL 36330.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Suzy Estes, Daleville, AL; two daughters, Sherlyn Culwell, Daphne, AL; Barbara Pollard (Reed) Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren, Bridget Cargile (Josh) St. Augustine, FL; Robert Pollard (Amy) Atlanta, GA; Teresa Pollard, Atlanta, GA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
