Lucile Virginia Spann went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at her home in Enterprise.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Faithview Holiness Church with Rev. Marcus Ramer officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey Dewes Spann, Sr. and a brother, Johnny “Buddy” Thames.

Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Galloway (Mark) Hartford, AL; Donna (Fiore) Ramer (Marcus) Kinston, AL; two sons, Dorsey Dewes Spann, Jr., Enterprise, AL; Donald Steve Spann, Dothan, AL; sisters, Sue Creech, Enterprise, AL; Shirley Tulley, Geneva, AL;  brothers, Jimmy Thames; Jerry Thames (Faye) both of Enterprise, AL; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; a special friend, Bill Fuller; numerous nieces and nephews.
