Lucy Moore, age 82, of Clayhatchee, AL, passed away, Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, August 30, 2013 at  Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Morrow and Rev. Chad Hixon officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M, Thursday, August 29^th at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 10 Providence Lane, Daleville, AL 36322 or flowers will be accepted.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Moore, a son, Charles Moore and granddaughter, Lana Kay Turner.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Bryant, Clayhatchee; Judy Turner, Wicksburg;  one son, James Moore (Bobbie) Opp; nine grandchildren, William Turner, Jr, Lee Ann Mays, Tonya Bryant, Casey Moore, Jason Moore, Velvet Kiley, Shannon Wehunt, Chasity Etheredge and Amanda Goforth; sixteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Det Hussey (Otho); Enterprise; Peggy Kyser, Enterprise; Betty Sasnett (James) Clayhatchee; two brothers, Royce Thomas, Clayhatchee; Pete Thomas (Betty) Clayhatchee; her long-term and very special caregiver and friend, Carolyn Elmore, also, caregiver, Charlotte Reese.
