Ludwig (Louie) Franz Sturmer, age 77, of Ozark, AL, passed away, Sunday, January 11, 2015 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Leon Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.

He served in the Air Force during the Korean war and retired as an aircraft mechanic at Fort Rucker, AL.

Preceding Mr. Sturmer in death was his wife, Clara Sturmer.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Glennie Salter, Enterprise, AL; niece and nephew, Teresa Salter (Gene) Mitchell, Panama City Beach, FL.
