On Thursday, July 4th, 2013, Lynn Alan White of Enterprise, AL went home to be with our Lord.  He was 61 years old.


          A celebration of his life will be held on July 8th at 2:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Mynatt, Rev. Dwayne Sims and Rev. Earl Hodges officiating.  The family will receive friends at Hillcrest from 12:00 noon until time for the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Hillcrest Baptist Church building fund, 500 Alberta Street, Enterprise, AL 36330.


          Lynn was born in Troy, PA, January 14, 1952.  He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in his twenties and faithfully served him for the remainder of his life.  He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church where he was a deacon and taught Sunday School.  He was a loyal husband, father, Christian, brother, and friend.  He was an outdoors man, enjoying hunting and golf.  He was an Eagle Scout and a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts.  Lynn loved his country, spending over 20 years in the US Army, the majority of time in Aviation.  After retirement, he later trained pilots as a civilian at Shell Army Air Field and became the Deputy Director of BWS.


          Survivors include his wife of 32 years, June Estes White; two sons, Adam Lee White; David Matthew White, all of Enterprise, AL; brothers, Lance White (Gay) Tacoma, WA; Dale  White (Karol), Troy, PA; sister-in-law, Sylvia Hodges (Earl); several nieces and nephews.
