Mable Lee Dunn of Geneva passed away at her residence on Saturday, September 6, 2014.  She was 85.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Maple Avenue Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Shirah officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Maple Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 1009 W. Maple Avenue, Geneva, AL 36340.

Mrs. Dunn was born in Geneva County on September 20, 1928 to the late Javers McGlamry and Katie Forshee McGlamry.  She was a longtime and faithful member of Maple Avenue Baptist Church.  She volunteered at the Merle Wallace Purvis center for many years.  Mrs. Dunn was a great cook and loved sharing her pecan pies and teacakes.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt Dunn; two brothers, Joe McGlamry and Elton McGlamry; and her sister, Kate Brannon.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonya Dunn (Scott Owen) of Geneva; and two granddaughters, Katie Wynn of Destin, Fla. and Jessica Wynn Gonzales (Miguel) of Andrews Air Force Base, Md.
