Malinda M. Sundy, age 91, of Coffee Springs and formerly of Samson passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Rev. Buddy Manning officiating.  Burial will follow in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Sundy was born on August 21, 1924, in the Fairview Community in Coffee County to the late Webb Money and Sallie Phillips Money.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold David Sundy; and all four of her siblings.

She is survived by two sons, Billy Ray Sundy (Mary Joyce) and Benny Sundy, both of Coffee Springs; four grandchildren, Pam Zigler of Chancellor, Michael Sundy of Coffee Springs, David Ray Sundy (Lauren) and Benjamin Casey Sundy both of Jackson, TN; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
