DOTHAN…..Marc Henderson, a resident of Dothan, died Tuesday morning, January 13, 2015, in a Dothan hospital. He was 52.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 16, 2015, in the Hodgesville Baptist Church with Hospice Chaplain Jody Haddan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M Friday in the church sanctuary.

            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Davita Dialysis, 216 Graceland Avenue, Dothan, AL 36305.

            Marc Henderson was born and reared in Dothan, son of the late James Allen Henderson and Myrtle Lou Adkinson Henderson. He lived in Birmingham before returning to Dothan in 1982. Marc was formerly employed by McLane Distribution as a truck driver. In earlier years, he worked for Twitchell in Dothan. Marc was a member of the Hodgesville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Henderson.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Kristen Hyde (Lee), Midland City; a son, David Henderson (Megan), Raeford, NC; a sister, Juliette Simpler (Roger), Dothan; two grandchildren, Grant and John Parker Hyde; a step-son, William Epps, Dothan; Marc’s loving companion, Debbie Epps, Dothan; a niece, Nikki Britton, and a nephew, Jason Simpler.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Steve Thomas, Chris Register, Ronnie Brown, Kenny Hall, Wayne Johnson, and Ronnie Johnson.
