ABBEVILLE…Marcelle Skipper Trawick, a resident of Abbeville, died Sunday morning, December 4, 2016, in a Dothan hospital. She was 91.

            Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 6, 2016,  in the Abbeville Pioneer Cemetery with Reverend Ray S. Reiley officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:45 until 12:45 P.M. at the mortuary in Abbeville. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            Mrs. Trawick, daughter of the late Pat Skipper, Sr. and Nita Skipper, was a native and lifelong resident of Abbeville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Trawick; her son, Jimmy Trawick; brother, Sam Pat Skipper, Jr. (Barbara) and a nephew, Gordy Skipper (Barbara).

            Surviving relatives include a daughter-in-law, Martha Trawick, Carrabelle, FL; two grandchildren, Jamie Trawick, Abbeville and Nita Massey (Rod), Carrabelle, FL; three great-grandchildren, Preston Massey (C.J.), Dakota Massey (Heather), and Devin Trawick; two great-great-grandchildren, Lily Massey and Madison Varnes; two nieces, Debbie Mobley (Danny) and Dana Starling (Philip); nephew, Jeff Skipper (Jody), all of Abbeville.
