           Mrs. Margarite H. Votaw of Ariton Alabam passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Flowers Hospital. She was 81.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from the Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory chapel. Burial will follow in Old Tabernacle Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 pm. 

            Mrs. Votaw was born September 23, 1932 in Lawton, Oklahoma to the late Jettie Coulston.  In addition to her mother, her husband, James O. Votaw, as well as five sisters Ethel, Mary, Abbie, Shirley, and Pat preceded her in death.

            Survivors include one daughter; Jetta Hines(Morris), New Brockton; one son, Jim Votaw (Jeanne), Perry, Oklahoma; two sisters, Billie McGhee, North Carolina, Caroll Kennedy, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Matt, Darby; five great-grandchildren, Chandler, Connor, Habbie, Thatcher, Madden.
