Margie Lee Jackson of Samson passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017. She was 87. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Bro. William Aplin officiating. Burial will follow at Weeks Assembly of God Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Covington County, AL on April 27, 1929, to the late Earnest and Mary Bell White. She enjoyed going to church and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel Jackson and one son, Gregory Jackson.

She is survived by her three sons, Raymond White of Paxton Fl., David McIntosh (Katherine) of Crestview Fl., and Dale White (Tawanda) of Samson, Al.; one daughter, Karen Faas (George) of Geneva, Al.; three sisters, Mary Sweat, Estelle Norman, both of Paxton, Fl. and Josephine Gordon (Billy) of Perry, Ga.; one brother, Odus White (Pat) of Ft. Walton Beach, Fl.; and several beloved grandchildren, great- grandchildren,and great-great grandchildren.
